Norstar Parts, Components, Cards and Modules for your Norstar system are necessary to customize your system. As your needs grow, you can continue to add components to your system while protecting your original investment.

Norstar 0x16 Station Module
The Norstar Fiber Station Module is installed in conjunction with a 2 Port or 6 Port Fiber Expansion Cartridge and allows the addition of up to 16 station sets. The Norstar Fiber Station Module M0x16 uses fiber-optic DS-30 cables instead of copper DS-30 cables. For use on the Meridian Norstar Modular ICS or the 0x32 KSU.

Norstar 12x0 Trunk Module
This module allow for the addition of trunk lines to the MICS Norstar control unit. It connects via an expansion port on the 2 port or 6 port fiber expansion cards. This module houses 3 NT5B40, NT7B75, or NT5B37 (DID) cards to allow up 12 trunks to be added to the system.

Norstar 2 Port Expansion Card
The Norstar 2 port fiber expansion card is designed for the MICS 0X32 Control Unit to add expansion modules. There are two ports which can be used to add either the M12X0 fiber trunk module, the M0X8 fiber analog station module or the M0X16 fiber station module. If 2 ports is not enough expansion, please see the 6 port fiber expansion card or the 6 port fiber combo.

Norstar 6 Port Expansion Card
The Norstar 6 port expansion card is used on the Norstar Modular ICS control unit and allows for up to six expansion modules (M12X0 fiber trunk module, M0X8 or M0X16 fiber station module) to be added to the control unit. By adding 2 of these cards to the MICS, the control unit will be capable of 12 expansion ports. (Must have XC Software to add 2 expansion cards). This card can also be used for NAM voicemail modules which can be added to the system.

Norstar 6 Port Combo Card
This Norstar 6 port fiber combo expansion card is for the MICS. It allows the expansion of lines and/or stations via the M12X0 fiber trunk module, M0x8 or the M0x16 fiber station modules. The Modular ICS control unit will support up to 2 T-1 for Digital Trunk connection, and this card has the T-1 clock card built in. By adding this card you are gaining not only six ports of expansion but also hardware necessary for adding a digital T-1/ PRI.

Analog Station Module
The Norstar analog station module allows up to 8 analog ports to be added to the Norstar Modular ICS System. It connects via an expansion port on either the 2 port or 6 port expansion card. One additional M0X8 analog module can be added by daisy chaining from the first module, thus leaving your expansion ports available for other modules.

Norstar Caller ID Trunk Card
The Norstar caller ID Truck Line card is used for the Norstar CICS & Norstar MICS control unit and/or the Norstar M12X0 fiber trunk module to expand the line capability of the Norstar MICS. You must have these cards in order to receive caller ID from your telephone company. This card can also be used to work with the Norstar M12x0 copper truck module for the M8x24 KSU.

Norstar LS/DS Trunk Card
The Norstar LSDS Truck Line card is used for the Meridian Norstar M8x24, Norstar CICS & Norstar MICS control unit and/or the Norstar M12X0 trunk module to expand the line capability of the Norstar Modular Phone System.

Norstar Remote Access Device, FastRAD
This device allows for remote access and programming of the Norstar phone system. The remote user must have Norstar Remote Utilities Software to access and program the Fast RAD.

Norstar T1/PRI Card
The Norstar T1/PRI digital line card allows for the direct connection of a T1 digital trunk line. This will allow the connection of up 24 lines on one connection. You must have either a T1 clock card or the 6 port fiber combo card, which has T1 clocking built into an expansion card.
